Since we are forever stuck (safe) at home AND I am taking one photo a day to document our life this year, the One Roll, One Day project was starting to feel a tad redundant for this month. It has taken lots of creativity to continue documenting our day, which feels like we are living the exact same moment over and over, but trying to finish an entire roll in just one day seemed nearly impossible. I knew I was going to do it but I really wanted to branch out and do something a little different this time. So instead of documenting my kids and our day from morning to night, I decided to document bits and pieces of life my kids leave behind. These things typically bother me (I mean, who likes cleaning up toothpaste spit from the sink and slippery soap bars from days old cup water in the bathtub???), but taking these images was so therapeutic. Photography is truly amazing and I love how it lets you find the beauty in even the most mundane places. Scroll down to take a peek at our day and the many many messes my kids leave behind.
And be sure to continue on the blog loop by jumping on over to my sweet friend, Amy Berge blog to see here April One Roll, One Day.
