There is just nothing quite like a newborn session! I love the sweet energy and warmth everyone feels when baby is near. It’s truly a highlight of my job getting to come into families home and photograph this sweet time in their lives with my film camera!
This beautiful newborn session was in Raleigh, North Carolina at The Peterson family home. They are the most adorable family with two sweet little boys (and the cutest two dogs as well!). The newest member of the family is baby Kennedy who is too sweet for words! It’s important for me that the family feels comfortable during a session with me and that they are able to interact naturally as if I wasn’t even there. These pictures are a documentation of what life looks like in this season of your family’s growth. It’s a beautiful thing and is so natural.
We walked throughout the Peterson’s beautiful home and took some cuddle filled photographs in baby Kennedy’s new nursery. The soft blues and crisp whites of the home and the families outfits complimented each other so well and gave the session a cool calming and soft tone. It was a beautiful day filled with warm hugs and lots of love.
