Another month of my One Roll, One Day photography project.

This month, I decided to use my Rolleiflex to capture our everyday. I have been lusting after this camera for years and it is truly everything I thought it would be and more! It is such a fun little camera and just so different than all of the other film cameras I own. The Rollei only gives you 12 frames per roll of film, making this month a tad more interesting (shooting-wise) than in previous months (and just for comparison in case you don’t shoot film - a 35mm camera typically gives you 36 frames per roll and a medium format camera has 16 frames).
The images below are from a random day in April (before my kids started back their online schooling). I thought about documenting my husband’s birthday or Easter for this roll, but I really wanted this roll to be about our “new normal” as we are staying at home. We are home bodies to the core anyway, so these images aren’t too much different than our everyday (minus the hand washing and overabundance of paper products).
I have a group of friends also participating in this One Roll, One Day film photography project! Click here to follow our blog circle, starting with Peter!
