5 Reasons You Should Be Shooting Film | Raleigh Newborn Photographer

If you have been around this blog for more than a hot second, you’ve probably heard me gush about my love affair with film. Film has literally changed my life and my career. I found film when I needed it more than I knew…when my days were spent editing, editing, editing with so many sleepless nights and so many missed weekends with my family.

I shoot film for all my lifestyle newborn and family sessions and I love how my medium of shooting is always such a fun topic for conversation with my clients! Film is amazing in so many ways (so amazing that I even teach an online workshop (FILM LOVE WORKSHOP) all about film and how incredibly EASY it is to shoot and how it can change your career). If you are a digital photographer who might be feeling a little bit of the pull to GET-OUT-OF-THAT-CHAIR-OF-EDITING-DEATH, I wrote an article over at Clickin Moms to help convince you why you should grab a film camera and some film today! (And if you are a potential client + are curious as to why I choose to shoot with film vs. digital, definitely check out the post as well!)

Interested in scheduling a session in 2019? Most family and newborn sessions are done in your home + fave places...we usually always venture outside around your home to play  (weather permitting). Some folks like to do just their house and yard, some folks like to do just one room of their house and their favorite park up the road. We're not meeting in some random park or place you've never been before. These are the places that matter most to you. This stage/house/moment you're at right now will be totally different and changed and just "where in the world did time go?" a year from now. Take the time to capture your here and now. I promise you will NEVER regret preserving those in-between moments. Call or email me for session details (or just click this link right here).
