Saying Goodbye | Raleigh Family Film Photographer
Today I am so excited to share this session of one of my dear friends Brittany and her family. I had the opportunity to capture her dear family on my film camera before they moved from across the country last year (and am just now getting around to sharing it - gahhhhh). They moved all the way from Hillsborough, North Carolina to California! Talk about a long trip and a lot of change!
I think it’s so important to document these special times in your lives, especially times like these ones. Making a huge leap from one community and lifestyle to another is huge! All of those memories that you have created with your family and friends are cherished. Taking the time to capture some images in that state of your life with your growing children will be photographs that you will hold dear for the rest of your life. Also, it’s something that your children’s children can look back on and see what life for their mother/father and grandparents was like. There really isn’t anything like the beautiful quality of professional film images and I guarantee that you will be so grateful you documented this season of your life later on.
In this session Brittany was just a few months pregnant with her sweet baby boy at this time and this session was so bittersweet. So much love, silliness, attitudes and all that other stuff wrapped up in one beautiful family! I’ll always be grateful that she chose me to capture this season in their lives.
Interested in scheduling a session in 2019? Most family and newborn sessions are done in your home + fave places...we usually always venture outside around your home to play (weather permitting). Some folks like to do just their house and yard, some folks like to do just one room of their house and their favorite park up the road. We're not meeting in some random park or place you've never been before. These are the places that matter most to you. This stage/house/moment you're at right now will be totally different and changed and just "where in the world did time go?" a year from now. Take the time to capture your here and now. I promise you will NEVER regret preserving those in-between moments. Call or email me for session details (or just click this link right here).
