Best of 2018 - Part One | Raleigh Family + Newborn Photographer
2018 was such an amazing year. It was full of focus, determination, tons of shooting and more. It’s was a year of growth and change and oh so much connection with others and I am so very thankful for every single second of last year. I wasn’t going to comb through the images from 2018 and share a “best of” post, but I started perusing my gallery of images and I couldn’t NOT share. On the blog yesterday, I talked about my 2019 goals and how the start of a new year always brings such reflection and introspection. Looking back on 2018 let me see how far I’ve come….how many wonderful opportunities were placed in front of me and how many amazing people I had the opportunity to work with. I can’t even begin to imagine how many photos I took last year, but I can say they were ALL film. Film has truly changed so many aspects of my life and I will forever be it’s biggest fan. (And if you are interested in learning how easy it is to shoot film, come check out my Film Love Workshop!!). As I started sorting those my thousands of images, I selected some to highlight 2018….and then I had to separate them into THREE different blog posts (which I will share over the next few days). Ooops…sorry, friends. I couldn’t help myself. I am so excited to share a little peek at some of my favorite family, newborn, maternity and portrait sessions from 2018. I can’t even begin to explain how much happiness and gratitude this set of images brings me.
2018 BEST OF FAMILIES + NEWBORNS
I still pinch myself that I get to call family and newborn photography my job. It is my passion and it encompasses my entire heart and soul. I shoot with that passion and my goal is to always make sure my family and newborn sessions reflect that. I am so grateful for each of the amazing families I photographed this year! I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with capturing your memories.
And if you’re interested in getting in front of my camera in 2019, here’s the low down for ya! Most sessions are done in your home + fave places...we usually always venture outside around your home to play (weather permitting). Some folks like to do just their house and yard, some folks like to do just one room of their house and their favorite park up the road. We're not meeting in some random park or place you've never been before. These are the places that matter most to you. This stage/house/moment you're at right now will be totally different and changed and just "where in the world did time go?" a year from now. Take the time to capture your here and now. I promise you will NEVER regret preserving those in-between moments. Call or email me for session deets (or just click this link riiiiiiight here).
